TalkWell-2nd-Edition

TalkWell is a conversation training resource for mental health workers. It’s a lively and practical way to help your staff to:

  • become better listeners
  • enjoy and feel able to manage conversations about anything from Coronation Street to coping with compulsions
  • have a greater awareness of what’s happening in patients’ minds and their own
  • have richer relationships with patients

Over 20 practical, helpful sections cover topics such as listening skills, structuring conversations, appreciating difference, asking sensitive questions, body language and difficult conversations. And it’s crammed with exercises and ideas to help you and your team hone their conversational skills.

And get this!! (Er, we mean – wow, this is exciting. It isn’t an instruction to purchase a poster blatantly furthering Buddy’s modelling career. Just an option. A suggestion. A plea.) Oh yes. We've gone all Apple. You can now download free the whole Star Wards 2 publication so that if you've got an iPhone, you never need to be without all those examples of fantabulous inpatient care. And some lovely photos of Buddy.

iPhoners can cyber-skip to the iTunes store, put Star Wards 2 into the search box and then just click on the Free button. (And sync it with your gorgeous, life-changing constant companion.) There are also options for sharing the link.
